Issue 5 of Paper Lanterns is jam-packed with Young Adult work from our teenage and over 19 contributors.

This issue, you can expect wonderful creative YA work; poems ranging from insightful self reflection to the world around us short stories covering acceptance, witches and more. Art and photography is interwoven, bringing the writing to life this summer.

Our features include a look at growth through books, writing the teen voice and translation, and a continuation of our much-loved Beyond The Books series, as well as an interview with author Phil Stamper. We have book reviews of the latest teen and YA books by teenagers and YA lovers, so you’re sure to find something to add to your to-be-read pile.
